How to connect Shopify to Amazon Seller Central

Prerequisites before you start

Two things block almost every failed first connection:

• An Amazon Professional selling plan — Individual plans have no SP-API listing permissions.
• Being signed in to Seller Central as the account owner (or a user with Manage Your Apps rights) when you authorise.

Which permissions the app requests

SellerApex requests only the SP-API roles it needs: Product Listing (to create and update listings), Inventory and Order Tracking (to sync stock and pull orders), and Pricing (to apply your pricing rules). It never requests banking, tax or Buyer Information roles.

Common connection errors

MD1000 'Unable to find application' means the authorisation link points at an app that is not publicly listed for your marketplace — use the Connect Amazon button in-app rather than a saved URL. An immediate redirect back with no consent screen usually means you were signed into the wrong Seller Central region; switch marketplace and retry.
